Barbecue Recipe for BBQ Spare Ribs
A barbecue recipe for bbq spare ribs is a great meal to share with friends and they are an easy barbecue recipe to follow. This Bbq ribs recipe will have them coming back for more again and again!
To serve 4 to 5 people with bbq ribs you need 4 to 5 pounds of pork ribs, cut in serving size pieces.
- Place ribs face down meaty side down in a shallow pan in a pre heated oven of 450 degrees.
- Season with salt and pepper rubbed in by hand before placing in oven. Only leave in the oven for 20 minutes After 20 minutes drain off the excess fat and turn the ribs up for 20 minutes more.
- By now the barbecue will have come up to temperature. At 300 hundred degrees you place the ribs on the grill for about 15 minutes, turning them over at the fifteen minute mark.
- Then top the ribs with sliced lemons and sliced onions .Continue to cook for another 15 minutes.
- Turn the barbecue down to low and let simmer. Now be careful not to burn them.
Mean while combine ketchup Worcestershire sauce chili powder salt Tabasco and sea salt. Add all this to one and one half cups of water and bring to a boil.
Then slowly pour over the ribs. basting occasionally for one hour more. If the sauce gets to thick add more water to thin it out due not thin or water the sauce down to much. If you need more whip up another batch.
Do not use all the sauce on the basting as you will want some for the final cooked ribs. To use as you serve the ribs.
Items for the sauce 1 lemon thinly sliced, 1large onion thinly sliced,1 cup of ketchup,1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of chili powder ,1 teaspoon of sea salt, 1 or two dashes of Tabasco.Mix all in a glass bowl except the lemon and the onion.

Roasted spare ribs can be done in the oven or on the bbq.
You will need 6 pounds of spareribs,2 cups of diced onions, 2 large cloves of garlic minced, one teaspoon of virgin olive oil, ½ cup of water, one teaspoon of salt,1/4 cup of vinegar, 1/3 cup of chili sauce,3 table spoons of brown sugar,2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, and one tale spoon of dry mustard
Place ribs down in a pan roast for 30 min at 450 degrees. Drain off excess grease and turn ribs over for 30 more minutes. Drain off excess fat.
